How can I order a cake, cupcakes or pastries?
How far in advance should I place my order?
We’d like as much lead-time as possible. A minimum of 3 days is required. If you have a shorter notice order, ask us, and we’ll try to get it done for you!
Please note that orders are always based on availability and some months book up faster than others.
Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase a cake on the spot?
No, we are a by-appointment-only shop that specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes, and pastries. All our orders are made to order and we do not carry cakes on hand.
Can I pick up my order ?
Yes! You may schedule a time to pick up your cake or desserts.
If you want to change the time of the pick-up after placing the order, please contact us via call or text at 737 297 7238.
Keep in mind that when you or your representatives pick up your cake or desserts, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake or desserts once they leave our possession.
Do you offer delivery?
We offer deliveries within a 1 miles radius of our location for 7$/order, and 10$/order for a 2mile radius.
Delivery for tiers cakes and wedding cakes could be done further. The delivery fee for those orders will vary based on location. A quote will be issued along with the quote for the order.
Keep in mind that when we delivered your order, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake or desserts once they arrive at your destination.
Where do you deliver your cakes or desserts?
We deliver within a 2 miles radius of our location downtown Austin . If you need your order to be delivered further away, please contact us via email at email@example.com and we will try to arrange the delivery as best as we could.
Do you ship cakes or desserts?
Unfortunately, we CANNOT ship cakes or desserts at this time.
What cake flavors & fillings do you have?

We offer a wide variety of flavors, with seasonal specials!
Our regular flavors are the followings:
For cake flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Red Velvet, Carrot and Lemon.
For filling flavors: Premium Vanilla, Chocolate, Caramel, Cream Cheese, Strawberry, Coffee and Peanut butter.
Do you make vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, or eggless cakes?
Yes depending on the baked goods.
Please contact us with your specific need and we will accommodate your sweets as much as we can.
Are you an allergy free facility?
Although we take every precaution we are not an allergy-free facility. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
Will my cake look EXACTLY like the picture?
Although we will do everything to accommodate your vision, keep in mind that everything is custom made and no two cakes will ever be the same.
At Violette Bakehouse we do not recreate the work of other cake designers. If you have pictures that you'd like us to use for inspiration, we will stay within the same design and come up with a design that is entirely yours.
We also reserve the right to exercise artistic license and make last-minute changes if necessary to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of the cake or dessert.
How much are cake tastings, and what do they entail?
Cake tastings can be scheduled prior to making initial deposit. Tasting are available for orders of $300 and up. You will choose between 2 cakes flavor and 3 filling flavors of your choice for $30. That amount is non-refundable but will be deducted from your final cost if an order is placed within 1 week. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
How do I schedule a tasting?
Tastings are not held at our location. Once you’ve selected your flavors from our flavor list, you or a representative will pick up the samples from our location and are free to enjoy with friends and family. This eliminates the pressure of having to make a decision right away. Once you’ve decided on a flavor, please contact us and we will move forward with the order. If you should need to reschedule or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 1 week in advance.
How much do you charge for your custom orders?

What methods of payment do you accept?
We have secured payment on the website and we accept payments by Venmo, CashApp, Zelle and PayPal.
Is a deposit required when placing an order?
When you order from the menu, you are required to pay the full amount of the order. For custom orders, we require a 75$ non-refundable deposit to confirm and hold a reservation. For orders less than 200$, full payment is required.
When is the balance due?
Balance is due in full 14 days before the pick-up/delivery date. We must receive the balance by 5 pm on the due date indicated in your contract to begin working on your order. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of the order, the contract will be null and void, and the deposit will not be refunded.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
The balance due date is the final date for any cancelation or changes to the event date, size, style, or flavors of the cake or desserts, 14 days before the pick-up/delivery date. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing. Cancellations received after the balance due date will not be subject to refund. In the event of an emergency, if we fail to deliver your cake or desserts on the date requested a refund for the full amount will be issued to you.
Once the cake has been picked up/delivered, no return will be accepted and no refund will be issued.
